Following the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area, which resulted in the destruction of Rohan Ali’s childhood home, Anthony Davis, a key figure for the Los Angeles Lakers, made a generous donation of $20,000 to the team videographer.
A Los Angeles native, Ali commenced his association with the Lakers in 2016, according to his LinkedIn account. He has been serving as the senior video producer for the team since 2021.
In a statement on the GoFundMe page, he noted that his parents “lost everything and could not retrieve any valuables or cherished items” before their residence in Altadena was consumed by the Eaton fires.
According to Ali, the contributions made to the GoFundMe campaign will enable his parents to manage expenses related to food, housing, transportation, and other necessary costs as they embark on the process of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
