In a groundbreaking partnership, the Philadelphia 76ers and Crypto.com have introduced the ‘Spectrum Sprint,’ marking the debut of the first-ever Web3 mobile video game series in the NBA

In collaboration with Crypto.com, a team sponsor since 2021, the Philadelphia 76ers have unveiled “Spectrum Sprint,” a free mobile game that integrates Web3 components.

The game associated with the NBA team embodies a pixel art aesthetic, featuring side-scrolling mechanics that require players to traverse notable landmarks in Philadelphia while racing down Broad Street towards the former Spectrum arena of the team. Participants have the opportunity to unlock digital collectibles and vie for exclusive rewards across four distinct tiers: Rookie, Pro, All-Star, and Legend.

The high-score competition will offer rewards to the leading players, including courtside tickets, invitations to the Sixers Youth Foundation Gala, and a suite accommodating 12 guests for the 2025-26 NBA season. An in-game leaderboard will monitor the top performers, with the highest-scoring individuals receiving additional VIP experiences.

The web-based game is set to be presented at the “Spirit of 76 Night” home games, complete with a pop-up arcade that allows fans to participate in gaming and sign up for a Crypto.com account.

The second game in a trilogy of Web3 titles celebrating the team’s Nike City Edition uniforms, Spectrum Sprint was developed by Impossible Brief. The series began with the launch of Buckets on Broad in November, and the third game is expected to debut in March.
